General Information

Swimming ends for year 4 at February half term.

Ballet for year 3 PE will take place on a Friday morning.

Children may have additional PE sessions. Please ensure that children have appropriate kit in school everyday. We may will be having some PE sessions outside; the children are allowed to wear tracksuit bottoms and can bring a jumper for these sessions.

Children need to take their book bags and reading book home and are encouraged to read at home each evening. Whole class reading lessons in school will also be recorded in their reading diaries

Reading Raffle: Children will receive a raffle ticket for every read a home. At the end of every term, one ticket will be chosen from the box. The winner will receive a voucher to buy a book of their choice.

Children will also receive weekly spellings to learn and will also be asked to complete written Topic, Maths or English homework.

Please can you ensure that your child’s school uniform, coat and PE clothes are labelled with their name. It is very easy for items to be lost or taken by mistake. This makes it easier for us to return the item of clothing to you instead of placing it in lost property.

Thank you
