Tapestry

We have invested in a tool called Tapestry. Tapestry is an app based tool which allows us to evidence a child’s significant moments into a Learning Journal through photographs. It also helps us as an assessment within school too, to evidence and record the observations against the areas of the curriculum with Development Matters. Parents can share significant moments at home with us too by using the app, which benefits the home to school relationship. We are able to assign the EYFS assessment area to the observation, and then use this to aid teacher assessments.

We use Tapestry to share photographs and videos of the children playing. We also share home learning tasks, letters and information for the parents to access. Parents are able to use Tapestry to contact the class teacher with any queries, and teachers will respond with the relevant information.

How to sign up

In your admission pack, there will be a Tapestry form where you can give consent and provide your email address. Tapestry will send you an email with a link to create your account password.
